These terms cover your use of the bytehat.ch website and the products bytehatch makes, including the MarketHunter browser extension. By using them, you agree to these terms.
Our products
bytehatch products are tools you run in your own browser or on your own device. We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering a product, at any time.
Other websites
Some of our products work alongside websites run by other companies, such as Facebook Marketplace. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them, and they are not responsible for our products. You are responsible for using those websites in line with their own terms, and for your dealings with the people you meet there. We do not take part in, and are not responsible for, any purchase, sale or conversation between you and anyone else.
Using our products
- Use our products only for lawful, personal purposes.
- Do not use them to harass, spam or deceive anyone, or to collect information about people for resale.
- Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or tamper with our products, or try to get around any limits we put in place, except where the law allows it.
Ownership
We own our products, our website and the bytehatch and MarketHunter names and marks. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use our products under these terms, and you keep ownership of anything that is yours.
Paid features
If we offer paid features, we will show the price and any extra terms before you pay.
No warranty
Our website and products are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that a product will always work, will find any particular listing or deal, or that the information it shows is accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, bytehatch is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product involved in the twelve months before the claim, if any.
Ending your use
You can stop using our products at any time by uninstalling them. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above when we do, and continuing to use our products after a change means you accept the updated terms.
